80’s Memories Relived

I adored both performances - Nile Rodgers and Chic's opening act was fantastic! All the Chic hits had me dancing in my seat. I hadn’t realized Nile Rodgers wrote all the songs, his show was amazing and the funk sound was top-notch! The stage was taken by Basement and it was incredible, they performed all their greatest hits and included a few new ones. The beat could be felt in the seats (loved it!). The only issue was the microphone sound of Simon’s voice, I am not sure if it was just my seating position or the sound production at Dickie’s Arena. Duran Duran was overall awesome, energetic, and kept the audience entertained. This was my initial Duran Duran concert, I look forward to seeing them again in the future.
